Capacity Building and Institutional Change

Within the context of natural resource management, EBC has undertaken a number of studies of capacity and institutional change. Studies of capacity have generally focussed on the assessment of current levels of capacity within NRM regions, the identification of strategies and programs to build capacity and the development of monitoring programs to evaluate progress towards achievement of capacity targets. Both qualitative and quantitative research methods have been used in this context, including extensive interview research and the development of psychometric measures and indicators.
